Gillon is undoubtedly one of the best all-round entertainers in the UK! An Accomplished singer, actor teacher and musician, Gillon's shows are definitely a must-see!
Drawing on over 30 years of experience, Gillon tailors every show to the individual, no two shows are the same!
Having started in theatre at the age of 10 playing Charlie Brown in the tour of "You're a good man Charlie Brown", Gillon got a taste of Showbiz. His teenage years were spent treading the boards of the local theatre, performing in productions such as "Jesus Christ Superstar" "Little Shop Of Horrors" and "West Side Story" all the time fronting the Acoustic/Rock band "Careless Pleasure". At 16yrs old he spent 8 weeks living in Dundee with the Scottish Youth Theatre, writing and performing in 3 productions. From this point on there was no doubt that a career in performance was the only way forward!
Gillon will jokingly tell you that he is an over educated performer! Studying under some great educators in Kirkaldy, Motherwell, Glasgow and London, he studied for 6yrs in performing arts, specialising in Musical Theatre. At the same time Gillon was still fronting bands such as "The Midas Touch", performing in the pop/theatre duo "Act 2" and acting in various live touring productions.
So far Gillon has been Lucky enough to perform all over the world in an amazing variety of venues including:
The Kings Theatre, Glasgow. The Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock.
The Gaiety Theatre, Ayr. Motherwell Theatre and Concert Hall.
The Lyceum Theatre, London. Olivier Stage, The National Theatre, London.
The Old Athenaeum Theatre, Glasgow. The Renfrew Ferry, Glasgow.
As well as venues in Ontario Canada, Majorca and Gran Canaria.
No Matter the Occasion, no matter the venue, when you book Gillon you will have a tailor-made show, full of fantastic songs, a touch of Gillon's humour, possibly some dancing (you were warned !!) But most of all the professionalism and experience of an entertainer who can make any night a night to remember.
